Education/Training/Certifications: In order to become a Cardiologist, one needs to complete about 13 years of studying and training after high school. Usually entering into medical school and then completing several fellowship programs that take about 1-2 years to complete.
Responsibilities and/or Daily Activities: Cardiologists are doctors who specialize in diagnosing and treating diseases or conditions of the heart and blood vessels—the cardiovascular system. Cardiologist will review your medical history and perform a physical examination, in order to diagnosis a problem the patient is having.
Salary: The median annual Physician - Cardiology - Invasive salary is $384,448 with a range usually between $319,089-$479,195.
